I have some pics of the cell I put in my Monte project might help some,Is this a street car or full on drag car.8gollen kinda small for street,My monte has a (RCI) pro street12gollen with foam and (GM 90 OMH fuel level sending unit) I think your realy asking how to inclose the cell from inside of car once you have it installed.mines not closed off yet want to put in cage first.you can buy a hold down strap kit for $24.00 from JEG'S or SUMMIT if you don't have the means to make your own.you will have to make a sheet metal Fire wall that seals it from drivers compartment, you need to vent the cell to the out side of car if you sink it in the trunk for clearance any part of the cell stiking out side the body must be inclosed in a metal box made of some thing like 24gage metal.you will also wan't to ground the cell to the frame with a ground strap, look at pics in gallery.

No pics, but I have to do the same thing in my '82. I'm going to make my own fuel tank and install it in the way back with a cover/firewall over the top of it.... I will run my fuel line out the back of the car, then forward along the rail where the original fuel line was.... The firewall will be some thin aluminum sealing it off from the rest of the car, and as FIDO said it will be vented outside the car...

Hey Steve I forgot to mention put a Fuel shut-off between your fuel cell and inline filter, you will be glad you did when it comes time to change the filter or remove the cell.I see your from up North in Sandusky you can go to Norwalk-Racepark and get some ideas are you close to the track.we lost the SpringNat's to Norwalk,Nationaltrails is my home track but have raced Norwalk for SUPER-CHEVY and some other races,AWSOME FACILITY should open around APRIL 1st Trails will check out Norwalks web site.
