    SBC Radiator question?

I am building a trike and I am trying to determine what the smallest radiator I can use. My biggest concern is the width. I will be running a stock 350/350 combo. THX for the help.

My Son just bought a '32 radiator from Walker for his T bucket, and it is chopped 6 inches from the stock '32 size, and printed on the box in big letters are the words "not guaranteed to cool a sbc." Walker is very conservative. I called them for the radiator for my '27 years ago, and they wouldn't build me one. I wanted a '32 radiator chopped 8 and 1/2 inches. The Brassworks finally did build me one to those dimensions, and it did cool fine.

All that being said, I would contact the people who build the Boss Hog motorcycles. They are running small radiators that cool the sbc and bbc engines in those bikes. www.daytonabosshoss.com/

Obviously, a good electric fan (like a SPAL) and shroud will help. You might contact the people at www.prchotrod.com/, we have bought two aluminum radiators from them, and they are works of art. You might see what they know about this, and may find they have done similar work already.

To give you some size perspective, here is a picture of the one I recently bought from them for my sbc powered T.
