Not sure how much help this will be, Bob, but for comparison purposes... In my coupe I have a Maverick 8" rear with the stock Ford drums and mid-70's AMC disc brakes up front. I am using the master cylinder from a 1985 Mustang and the brake pedal from a '95 Cougar. Although the master cylinder originally came from a car that had power brakes, I am using it without the power booster. It is small enough that it mounts on the firewall without interfering with any other components. (If you look in my gallery there are several pics that show it.) Required pedal pressure is not excessive. If you've ever driven an older Mustang or Ford Falcon without power brakes, that's about what the pedal feels like.Jim
