make photos smaller ?
is there any way you can make photos smaller with out photo bucket? is there a cd or any thing like photo shop that i can buy from like a Staples store or down load off the web ?that will let me make my photos smaller so i can get them on here.i was putting them thru my photo gallery and loading it back on my photo file that would shrink them. but can not do that any more?? thanks for help

Pat, what operating system do you have on your computer? If it is a Microsoft product, then you can use "MS Paint" which should already be on your computer.

Irfanview is what I used when I used M$ , now I only use Macs with OS X the past 4 years.
Oh and irfanview was free , might still be , was a very nice program .

Sounds like double speak to me. You are either running Win 2k or Win 98, unless you have multiple operating systems on multiple partitions. Which is unlikely.
In any case there are are quite a few programs for reducing photo size. Get an easy one. I use Paint Shop Pro for most of my doodling. But you can get free ones from Tucows.com, or use the ones built in to Windows (regardless of version).

PSP works good. I got a free to use version of 4.0 off of a monster truck II mod site a long time ago, and it does not expire, even tho it says it has only a 30 day trial period, the program never terminates. here is all the old versions. just download 1 that worksYou don't know what you've got til it's gone
