If you don't feel comfortable stuffing this thing in the grill; let me offer a suggestion. Mount it below, out of sight and supply cooling fan air to it. Too many salvage yards have Honda, Toyota, etc stuff to make it work. Aftermarket stuff is readily available to do this. Joe, thanks for the post. it always helps to get the right info.Last edited by nitrowarrior; 04-22-2007 at 06:57 PM.

the below came from THIS PAGE

now i will say that that same page also told us the below,Freon is about 4 times heavier than air, so it is going to sink to the floor initially, though it is highly volatile and will disperse rapidly. What this means is that the closer to the floor that you are, the more Freon you are likely to breathe in. This is a concern especially for children and pets, children because they are smaller and thus require smaller doses for acute effects to occur, and pets, especially dogs, because they are more sensitive to the heart sensitizing effects of Freon than humans are.Donate Blood,Plasma,Platelets & sign your DONORS CARD & SAVE a LIFE

Rads have come a long way. Years ago a big block alone needed a rad that was about 5" thick. I have noticed with new technology big blocks with air are using much smaller cooling units. Mine came from Cool Craft and while I have room for a condenser I would not mind using one with the condenser built in.1951 Chevy 3600 Long Box
