    You might even make the inevitable repair necessary sooner. The stuff that I have seen is no more than thick oil. It won't stop the leak. If you can't fix it now, just make sure you keep the oil level checked. Oil is cheap, don't dump any magic potions in there.

    65ny,
    stop leak = thick oil. hmm.. what about using a heavier weight oil? After all, temps are getting warmer this time of year here in Okla.
