got my home made muffler done
well guys, $51 and a few months later, I took all the parts for my home made muffler, and built it. cut the 3' length of 2.5" pipe, cut it to 24", took the 3" Id/ Id slip connector I bought and the other connectors I bought. I drilled 192 1/4" holes in the 2.5" inner pipe ( 1 hole per inch, 8 rows of holes ) slipped it togther and welded it up, ground off slag, then welded again. now it needs a little paint and it will be good to go. hopefully it actully changes the sound, dosn't need to muffle ( turbocharger will do that ), but I don't want it to sound like a cummings diesel pickup. You don't know what you've got til it's gone
