    Question "Huff & Puff ?? in Carb ..."

     



    "Huff & Puff ?? in Carb ..."

    Haveing a little starting problem with my carb ! .. Can't figure why my rod sometime will start like a charm and other times....it wont.
    It will crank over seems like it want's to go but just won't start and maybe get a little puff from carb .. Car just started to have this problem in the fall ( kinda cool weather.. garaged & has elec choke )

    Check your ignition advance. Sounds like it is too advanced and causing the engine to roll backwards for a few degrees after you shut the starter off.

    has your rod been sitting, your gas could be stale, i think it takes 2 months to go bad

    When was the last time you looked at the INSIDE of your distributor, sticky/worn/dirty weights & springs can and will cause problems.
