need some help... I just bought a 31 Model A Sedan.... Got it home on Saturday after picking it up....

I am looking at getting started on the suspension to set the ride height and everything. I am going to run radial tires on this. I know some of you don't like the radials, and it may not be traditional, but anyway... I am looking for the look of big in the rear and little up front as in this pic at this link...

Can anyone help me with radial tire sizes to get the look I am going for... I need something that is about 30" tall in the rear and about 27 - 28 up front... Any pics of what you are running would be appreciated...

....I've got Hoosier 31 x 12.5 x 15 on the back of my '32 & they measure 30" tall with 25 pounds of air in them. For fronts go to Coker Tire & check out there Radials. I'm using 125SR x 15 fronts which are 23" tall, but they have taller ones.... I don't have a camera but I'll try to borrow on to get some pictures up..... Bill

Thanks, I am leaning towards the BF Goodrich Radial T/A and running 225/60-15 up front and 255/70-15 on the rear... I was originally wanting all black wall tires, but it is hard to find something that matches front and rear since there is such a gap in the tire sizes...

Still i'm building same 31 sedan but am running full fendered this pick is 24.5 up front and 26.5 in the rear . This will show rake but height will go up . Will you be useing stock frame or building one and Z ing it to lower car . There are great threads here for building a Z'd frame

Looks like i may need a 255-70 to fill well in the Goodrich tire which is my choice also . Frame is set up with Heidts Superide front suspension with stock spindles and rear has 5.375 of suspension travel . I may be able to lower this im still looking into rear coil overs and thier compression travel for a sedan.

Filling a wheel well and not raising car is a dilima . This is putting my original 2 degree frame rake up to 4 degrees . This changes geometry in front suspension after i installed it . I may end up cutting it out to refit to keep its built in geometry correct. This is my first build .
