My new Paint scheme is here>>>>>>>>>

Well I figured I would debut my new paint in honor of Memorial Day. I haven't got her put back together yet, and still have to put the clear coat on her. Let me know your opinions good or bad................

    Also remember this thread?

See if you can guess where the idea came from, it should be REAL easy.

Youther the patriotic scheme is great . The Red , White and Blue gives you something to look at . It all looks good on top of the silver base .

Thanks for all of the comments so far. As with most things, the picture really does not do it justice. I'll post some of it outside in the sun soon. Here are a couple more from different angles, one is a little blury.

Wish I could take credit for the idea, but it is not mine. As I referred to in the other thread above, the idea has been borrowed and blessings given from the person that the idea was taken from. No one has guessed where it came from...............anyone want to take a stab at it?

I will guess Mike Oneals 32 3w painted by Wet Willey out of the Tulsa, OK area. I know both guys and know Willey very well. His original Ideas was awesome and I dont think he would mind you "borrowing" the idea.

    Am I right?

DING! DING! DING! We have a WINNER!!! I e-mailed Wet Willey and he replied back and said he did not mind at all if I used his idea. Like suggested by others here, we did change some things up. As you can see in this picture there are a lot of differences, but the whole idea came from Wet Willey.

You can't go wrong with stars and stripes! You made a great choice.

Here is a little story about one of my own jobs. I have been working for others for 35 years. About 15 years ago I did a stars and stripes scheme for one of my customers. Even though my work continues to improve every year, to this day, that is still the one people always mention! I guess we are all respectful of the flag!

Your car will be very popular, and the proof of that will be the number of people who pull out their cameras to save a picture of it. :-)
