Anybody with a 69 El Camino with a big block...
Does anybody have a 69 el camino with a big block chevy, and have you ever weighed your car?
I haven't found anything on the internet on how much the big block cars weigh in at. I have an iron headed big block chevy, aluminum intake, power steering, no A/C. Any info would be appreciated.

I found 3,520 for a '68, assume the '69 is about the same although the site didn't say whether it was with a SBC or BBC.PLANET EARTH, INSANE ASYLUM FOR THE UNIVERSE.

My '70 bigblock teetered on 3600. Not sure how close that would be for the '69 and '68.What if the "Hokey Pokey" is what it's really all about?

I think 1970 is slightly heavier than '69... but probably not by much. Thanks for the info, I was just hoping that it wouldn't weigh 3800lbs. I'm doing fiberglass hood, fenders, and maybe even bumper so maybe I can get this thing down to 3400lbs., maybe... anyone else weigh their car?

Ok gang. It's been awhile. With everything that was going on taking care of my mom's affairs and making a few needed mods to the Healey, it was June before anything really got rolling on this...
