    Power Brake install

Hey guys, I got a power brake kit for the 51 Effie, I can't remember the brand off hand something like 'all parts included'. anyways, directions call for removal of the front crossmember where the brake mounts. doesn't say anything in there about putting it back. What is the ramification of this? Do you all put in a new crossmember or crosswise support? Thanks.

Ummmm.....I don't think you want to go to the trouble of boxing the frame and then leave out the front crossmember.....do you?

I didn't think so, just wondered why the directions didn't include putting one back in, unless of course it is so common sense that they figured why mention it. once the rearend is back I'm driving it to my friends and putting on the lift to make all that work under there easier. Uncle is excited so coming back early, tomorrow night in fact, so we'll have two sets of hands working on it.
