If I remember correctly when I removed my AC pump on my 80 Malibu, the bracket mounted to the intake, water pump and bolts off of the engine where the exhaust bolts up. The power steering bracket bolts to the water pump, bolt hole on head and exhaust bolt to the head. The bolts for the exhaust mounting you just need to use a spacer and a longer bolt. If you don’t have the brackets they should be easy to find in the bone yard. Or you could use one of the many after market set ups if you are looking for a cleaner look. Mike
