dual exaust on a straight six?
is there any way to put dual exaust on a 300ci straight six and make it sound good

There are lot's of ways to put "twice pipes" on your banger. Headers are probably the easiest. Depending who's engine and what vintage there were any number of cast iron exhaust manifolds manufactured, some reproduced today. Then there's the old trick of cutting a hole in your existing cast manifold and welding in a second flange, but that's only marginally successful unless the guy doing the work understands preheating.

Split manifolds---had one on a 240 in my '53. Sweet sounds !!! Good old fashioned hot roddin, some things never go out of style. What motor do you have, there are still some cast iron Fenton's around. ???Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

i just sold a truck a 71 gmc c1500 with a 300ci inline six had dual headers and 2 cahamber flows with 3 inch pipes had a cam too i think not sure i did nothing to it it was given to me but it sounded great so i know they are out there try ebay.TO BUY A PART THAT IS SETUP FOR A LIMIT YOU WILL NEVER HIT MEANS IT WILL NEVER FAIL. SPEND THE EXTRA MONEY AND DO IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME.
