217, since it's a rural area, I'll assume the local Sheriff patrols it. Go ask who's detail that address is, ask him about it, tell him what you heard and what you want, even give a phone number for the owner to contact you. So far in this thread you only got one solid idea of how to tract down the owner, ask a neighbor or go to the records office and look up the property owner, google the name, or better yet, the yellow pages. I will say it again, do this the right way. It does seem you would rather tresspass just to check the story out to save time, understandable, but lazy and over zealous.39 Plymouth 2-door sedan, 46 Dodge pu, 67 Mustang stock, 01 Road King

we're just trying to warn you and have a little fun while doing it , don't get your panties in a knot Peggy! jeSsss!
I don't want you shot .
And I've went thru the trouble of tracking down story after story and a few times it has come up as "a couple of rusted fenders off a VW bug " that's why I said it .
I don't want you cursing and showing your butt on this forum either because there are kids that read CHR and that's a fact. Being a dad you should understand this !
go, don't go, I don't care..... but if you do go,.... come back & post some pix of what you find ,then make a thread so when you start the build we can all talk about it , if you decide to play you need thicker skin because we joke around a lot here "not bash" . I don't think any one here wants you to not look in the barn ,you just need to do it the safe way .
Just like Dave wrote "Just because the advice offered isn't what you wanted to hear doesn't mean that it isn't good advice offered with only good intentions......"
good luck repo man

Ok gang. It's been awhile. With everything that was going on taking care of my mom's affairs and making a few needed mods to the Healey, it was June before anything really got rolling on this...
