    Erik,

Does the one with a 389 have a Tri-power on it? If it does, they're not super rare; but, they are worth some fairly decent $$$$.

    Mine also.
Is it wrong to put a 383 Chevy or a 496 in one of these??
    I have enough parts to build a 500 hp 383 or a 575 hp 496.
The price to build a 389 or a 400 scares me a lot.

    No,not that I know of.
I know it sounds nuts but if I do buy one of these GTO'S I might just put the 389/400 in the corner and run Chevy power.

Do you think a low deck BBC with a Victor and "drop base" Moroso would clear with out cutting a hole in the hood?
