322 or 364 nailhead
How much of a problem would it be to put in either a 322 or 364 Nailhead Buick engine in place of my sbc.? Do they make an adapter for the tranny to fit a 350TH. This would go in my 37 chevy truck.Keep smiling, it only hurts when you think it does!

These guys have adapters for almost any configuration, plus they'll help with some engineering/machining. They have the adapters broken down into year groupings instead of c.i. sizes. Check 'em out and good luck.

The early nailheads used the dynaflow transmission. The bolt pattern was specific to those block's, and I think it changed with the 401c.i.. I can't remember the company that makes an adapter but I know it's around $700.
The early trans are hard to find and expensive to rebuild and not real strong.
Ok gang. It's been awhile. With everything that was going on taking care of my mom's affairs and making a few needed mods to the Healey, it was June before anything really got rolling on this...
