Removing Paint from aluminum Grill
Got a really good deal on a NOS grill for my 76 Dodge Pickup. Big drawback is that it's Military Surplus which means that it's painted green. The big plan is to strip it and send it out for chrome.
Anybody have any suggestions for paint removal. I've tries carb cleaner and acetone, doesn't seem to have much effect.I've NEVER seen a car come from the factory that couldn't be improved.....

What shine said..
Education is expensive. Keep that in mind, and you'll never be terribly upset when a project goes awry.
