I get razzed everytime I post this info ,but I use aviation gaskett shelac on stuff like that.It seals pretty good,only downside is old gaskett removal.Its gunna take longer than u thought and its gunna cost more too(plan ahead!)

i find that if i use red gasket sealent and 2 paper gaskets on my 350 thermostat that it will not leak.BARB

well i never had any leaky oil pans
the cheap pans some times fit up is not to good that were you need the RTV
i really do not have any problems if you get your hands on OMC type M you will need dynamite to get any thing off you glue down with it .
