    What exactly are you trying to achieve with them? A certain pattern or shape? Why won't LED's work in place?

    Edit: You can't use Fiberoptics where UV is present for long periods anyway, see link http://www.pegasusassociates.com/pro...cLighting.html

    nitro, I'm not sure that's been done. It would require a light generating source since the fiber optic "cables" are merely conductors. There would need to be some sort of "router" to direct the light energy to the appropriate destination. If an individual light source were used for each display light that would negate any reason to use the fiber optic material.

    Fiber optics have been used for monitoring light function. In those cases, the optic "cable" transmitted the light from, say the tail light, to an indicator at the dash. If you saw no light at the appropriate time, the bulb (light generating source) was burned out.

    Are you possibly thinking of LED (light emitting diode) lights?
