Flame Thrower question, Will this Blow up on me?

As far as the injection is concerned I was thinking about using an extra NOS wet system I have laying around. I was only planing on using the FUEL solenoid part of it, if the flame reaches the spray injector will it follow up the line and cause major damage? Has any one used a NOS system for a flame thrower?

Why would you want a flamethrower setup?

Is it not enough to drive into the Saturday night rod run in a nifty car?

I'm going to change my exhaust to run out the back of the car. I'm thinking about putting the spark plugs 5 inches from the end of the exhaust and the injection will be about 5 inches behind the plugs.

Maybe the father back I have the injection the safer I will be? I have an extra 10psi fuel pump and 100psi fuel pump collecting dust. I'm not to sure how much psi the nos solenoid can handle tho.

Most of the tailpipe injection units I've seen run propane for the flames insteaed of gas... Guess I don't like the idea of a bunch of extra fuel lines and stuff all over the car, gas is dangerous enough just in the carb....

Thats what I was thinking gas is just to dangerous. I think they sell kits for flame throwers for like 100-150 bucks that will be a lot safer and easier than using a modified Nitrous system with gas. I can see your idea of using gas though , I think they used to peddle and flood the system with unburnt gas to get flames in the early days. Injecting gas though is asking for trouble.

IMO ,Flames are cool ...... Id do it with a simple kit
