But I have a blue wire labled as dimmer power, but the dimmer switch for the headlights is wired up, so I dont know wether it should got with the headlight power wire or if its for the dimmer for the guages? If anybody would know thanks... The kit Im using is from Summit Racing, and the instruction are very vague...

    Thanks Harmon

The blue wire is usually the feed for the headlight dimmer whether it's in the column or on the floor. The high and low beams then are the green and tan wires that come from the dimmer to the lights themselves.

Its a Summit brand kit, none of the wires are hooked up yet, Im just starting the install...Ive got all the wires ran and sorted I just have a few Im not sure about.... The only thing I can figure is that the blue wire goes to the (GM 70s style) headlight switch on post #6....

Plus I have a painless Kit for the engine and tranny(94' LT1 4L60E) that will need to be tied into the body harness...

And I dont have a battery hooked up yet cause the wires arent there to hook it up yet...
