Thumbs down One more problem also before driving

    Can't turn left

This is as far left as I can go:

Open to any and all opinions on how to make this work. I did run headers when I had the old SB 350 so there must be a way to make them work

    Red face Updates....Updates

Alright well I guess the vids I promised are on hold.

I pulled the headers off and am going to tow the car down to the exhaust shop to get the header work done right, so I guess you could say they are now going to turn into custom headers...

Sounds great, nice throaty sound. When you reved it I heard a rattle, sounded like lose sheetmetal somewhere?
Also prime that baby! Don't want it to get rusty like my old truck! Looks great, now time to video some modest/safe pealouts!

Congratulations on the swap. Couple of suggestions though. First, run the intake air duct out to ambient air. The motor is taking in air that has been through the radiator.....read HOT. For each 10* drop in air temperature, the motor will pick up 1% power, so if you drop 100*, you pick up 10%. Other thing is, think about a shroud around the fan.

Those are actually both in work. I'm still deciding on a good spot where I could put the filter though and then I need to make shroud

Oh that rattling is the flanges on the back of the header where there supposed to bolt to the exhaust, there just sort of sitting there loosely right now, so they move around.

Don't worry I was looking for that noise too when I first started her up and thats what it was

I'll get some more vids on here too
