Identify Fuse Please
Look in books can't find what fuse is for. I know when wires come off touches firewall blows fuse for radio. Located middle firewall on 73 Nova

Seat belt interlock bypass relay, according to my somewhat general '70's GM wiring book. Why it affects the radio fuse is anyone's guess.

wires
It's female connector one black wire other tan. Found picture in book it looks like bypass relay for seat belt. What thru me off they came out with system in 74.

TCS relay
TCS=transmission controlled spark. This was a 1970 Emissions idea that was really B.S., the whole idea was give the engine advanced timing (via vacuum advance to the distributor) when it was only really needed, therefore reducing exhaust emissions.1970 El camino,454!!

Emission Idea
What stupid idea this was from chevy. Found wiring diagram. Even had tempature switch srewed into side transmission case. Emission Control System what a joke. I took wiring harness out most conection were unplug. Thanks for help.

No relevance at all to your quest to find a solution, but I think if you double check that temp sender it's really a pressure switch for low and reverse pressures. Also part of that great idea GM was trying.What if the "Hokey Pokey" is what it's really all about?
