Does anyone have diagrams on taking a ford mustang factory wiring harness and stripping it to the bare essentials and connecting it up to install on new fuel injection conversion I'm doing on a currently carburetor street rod. I know Painless and some others have kits but I got this complete setup given to me and would like to do this cheap!! (Its more fun to talk about it that way).
I am aware of the issue with return lines for the fuel and already have a electric fuel pump on the car but will probably have to replace it too, I dont think it will produce enough pressure. But that is the least of my problems to overcome . Do you think it it possible to mock the system up on the bench and test the circuts and voltages to the injectors to make sure everything is correct before I start ripping parts off my 34' and end up with a mess that wont run, I've got 1 month to do this before the NSRA meet in Knoxville and dont want to have to push it there!!
