Flaring rear fenders on '38 - '40 Pickup??

    Howdy!

Has anyone ever tried to flare the fenders on a 1938 or so Ford pickup? Or are there fenders available that are wider??

    Thanks,

    Dave M

Dave, I think it would be much cooler to widen them rather than flare them. Check out this article on what this guy did to his....

    '38 flaring

Thanks Randy. Just wish the article gave some idea how it was actually done.

Hey Dave, here's an example of how they did it on a 56. There has to be an article out there from someone who's done it on 38-40 fenders or somebody who sells wider fiberglas ones. How much wider do you want?

Probably a couple of inches. By the way, thanks for the ideas!
