Thanks Dave, so I guess these parts would work. So is that blue tube the fuel line??
I guess this is a good way to practice Tig welding since I'll be able to have it on a bench and move it around.

I am in the process of building a new tank for the willys. I bought a fuel cell filler for $29 and a 90 ohm sending unit for $19 on ebay so I could keep the fuel cell I take out intact.

Running the formula shows 13.7 gallons capacity.
Should be enough, I had a 16 gallon fuel cell that seldom took more than 12 gallons and that was good for about a hundred miles of in-town running around.
Highway mileage got you about 140 - 150 miles between fill-ups.
Go here to see an article I wrote about fuel flange repair - which is, in effect building the whole darned thing except for the tank.

Ditto on the model kits! My best were lost when the Hobby Shop burned under suspicious circumstances....
