'27 T door parts
Does anyone know where to get latches, window regulators, door handles and hinges that won't break the bank. The local rod shop had a catalogue but I didn't see where they came from.
I'm trying to decide between the originals and bear claws, I also want to be able to lock the doors which I don't think the originals do.

Go with bearclaws, so much better than the originals........safer too.

I found one regulator on the other site for ten bucks and it cost me another fifteen to get it here and it still needs the spring which costs five bucks. Langs has brand new ones for $29.95 in their 2006 catalog www.modeltford.com
Dave,
Also what does my coupe need for hinges? Also I resent that E-mail again did you get it?

Might look at some pickups.... most are flat glass on the side windows and with a little luck might come up with one thin enough to fit the T doors.... Probably just as easy to get a set of aftermarket power windows and be done with it.... The window channels should be available through most any auto body supply store.Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

I've got Bearclaw latches in the Mercs, they're glass.... Also put them in a number of other 'glass cars... Must have been something specific to Brian's car.Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Pat or Dave
So how do you use the stock T door handle to operate the bear claw?
Sorry for your loss of friend Mike McGee, Shine. Great trans men are few and far between, it seems. Sadly, Mike Frade was only 66 and had been talking about retirement for ten years that I know...
