    windsheild replacment help.

     



    does anyone have any tips that will help me replace the windshield in my 95 toyota truck? Ive never done a newer car, so im not sure what to watch out for. im sure i will have no problems ,but any tech advice would be greatly appreciated!

    not sure on this but the windshield is probably urathane set.you will need a special tool to cut the windshield out tight to the glass leaving the urathane bead the factory made and run a thin bead over top the factory bead then set your windshield.to be honest I would take it to a glass shop for installation .its a cut throat buisness and they probably will install it cheap.not worth wasting your time trying to a buck.

    Thanks for the tip! I got the new one in last night, was not as bad as i thought it was gonna be.
