Shifter Question
I pulled my t400 transmission out the other day and replaced it with a t350 that I found with only 30000miles on it, only paid $100!!!
My question is I just bought this B&M shifter for it and I was wondering if there is a cable linkage that will work with it:

I was looking at this one but the guy at the shop told me it wouldn't work, I find they don't always know what they're talking about though.

If the shifter came from B&M, why dont you call them with the part number in hand? I called them last week to ask if my 700R (that they built) had a specific configuration. They were very helpful and got the answer for me while I was on the line.

One link was to I assume the shifter you bought, and the other link was to a cable. Are you wanting to know about the linkage that goes to the tranny, or if that cable will work with your shifter? Ive got a TH350 Th400 B&M linkage for a pro stick (probably the same) I can shoot a picture of, But I will have to dig it up and post tomorrow if thats what you are inquiring about. Also as robot said they sell the linkages seperately.Last edited by mooneye777; 05-05-2008 at 02:50 PM.

Yes I wanted to know if that cable would hook up to the shifter I bought in the first link. It came with a threaded rod linkage that I seem to have working now but I thought maybe the cable would be easier as my transmission tunnel is quite tight. I might just leave it the way it is now and have to add another slight bend in it cause it just touches the case in L1.
Good idea just to call though, sometimes I miss the obvious!!
Thanks,
