dissassembling an 8" rear
I've got a super basic question for someone. I've always been a Chevy man, but I'm putting an 8" Ford rear under my latest project. I'm ready to take it apart for cleaning and powder coating. Rather than digging in and figgerin it out for myself.... would someone please tell me...should I remove the pumpkin / gear set first OR do I need to pull axles, etc first? Yeah, I could grab some wrenches and just start playing, but I'm looking for the easy way out for this evening's project. Thanks to anyone.

For sure!! I recall Jim's torsion bar suspension on at least one of his builds, but I'm not sure which one! Maybe the Track T?? He's a talented builder.
