    Mallory Distributors Exp?

I am trying to find a dist for a tight fit in Model A. I like the MSD 8570 but I do not want to run a box. Best I can do is Mallory 5048201 only 6" high off engine deck, really small dia. OEM is 7" but a lot fatter. I note most engine builders specify MSD. Anybody have experience with Mallory non Unilite distributors?

Nothing wrong with Mallory. That distributor uses a magnetic pick-up where the Unilite is optical. No big deal.
