What would really be wild is get the one that the crank was staionary and the engine spun around it.
That bike is am awesome piece of work but I would think some of those rear cylinders would not cool properly.
No reason you couldn't have that engine on the front of a car tho. Kind of like the old Morgans with the Harley Knucklehead in front.

Lay it on it's side. Just another boxer engine. Have seen 2, 4, 6, 8, and 12 cylinder boxers, why not a 7?Bob

They actually ran radial engines in the 2WW tanks, and they laid flat. Not sure what the drive was like though. Sniper

Just did a little checking, the M4 Sherman used the radial Continental engine, but it showed it sitting on edge a the rear of the tank, drive shaft to the front to the gearbox. Check Wiki for a drawing. Sniper
