No one lost their job when Ron Francis sold his company to The Detail Zone. Matter of fact, Ron is still on the Board of Directors and his wife is still VP for Admin. All of the employees also stayed. The guy who owns the Detail Zone used to work for Ron, before he started his own company. Ron is also still involved in R&D with Wire Works.

The company is stable and still a major player in automotive electrical systems, and will be around for the long haul. There may be reasons not to buy their products, but a change in ownership shouldn't be one of them.

Sometimes a person is better than a thing in cost. If you look around you can probably find a savvy auto electric mechanic that can rewire your car far cheaper than the cost of a harness.

Even in expensive California I found a guy that did my dash forward for $450. The couple wires running to tail lights were still fine. The cheapest Packard harness was $600 and I've seen them for $1300.

    Ask people where you are.
There is no substitute for cubic inches
