air plenum for carb
hi ...I was thinkinking of useing an air plenum from spectre on a carb I going to use on my fiero ,then run duct to the outside air breather. will this give me enough air to the carb.T motor will be a 262 chev v6. thanks for any thoughts on this idea.phil the geezer.

Kind of depends on the duct size and how may CFM it will flow... Heck, 90% of the new cars run a small duct from the air box to the engine.....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Not sure on the size ,...but spectre is junk ,everything has rusted or fell apart I have purchased from them.Its gunna take longer than u thought and its gunna cost more too(plan ahead!)

Spectre is the only brand I have seen that sells a plenum system for a carb.If there is something better that I can use from the carb to the air box ,I am open to any suggestion that you have.and any ideas on air flow. phil the geez

I tried to figure out the airflow on a 3" tube....never really found anything that gave me a definitive number....anxious to hear if you do better....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!
