Fitch catalyst spectroscopic analysis
Just saw them add a "Fitch Catalyst" canister type for injected engines on "Trucks" TV show Sunday and it reminded me of my ordeal of getting the carburated version- small pellets in a plastic girdle -stuck in my filling pipe of my 2000 Monte Carlo.
Anyway I had to remove the offending cartridges. (Had one I had held back from my 1993 Caprice I wanted to bump up the gas mileage on)
Never noticed the result of the TV show or much on my Caprice but I smashed a pellet and had it analyzed (I work at an aluminum factory)-
emissions spectroscopy for those interested.
Damn for $125 I got some ALUMINUM pellets that have about 1.25% lead
and 0.35% tin.

I wanted to complain about this NZ slang business, but I see it was resolved before it mattered. LOL..
