    Differential help

I hope wont get to in depth but could someone please tell me the differences between a) Detroit Locker b) mini spool c)full spool
and the pros and cons for each... I am leaning towards the detroit locker for my 90% street 10% race coupe...

A full or mini-spool either one will lock both axles together and provide no differential action on turns. Both tires turn the same revolutions at all times, unlike a Detroit Locker or other limited slip arrangement that provides for unlocking one of the axles on turns. I've seen guys run a spool on the street, but the tire screaching on every turn soon takes the fun out of it. The car tries to push straight ahead on every turn. Miserable to drive.

What you might also consider is just pre-loading the right rear only with an air shock, then run an open rear. Adjust the air until you get two black tire stripes on acceleration. The car will be way easier to drive with this setup, even over a limited slip arrangement. Plus, it's cheaper.
