i can build and many can build a bbc less then 13.000 that makes around 700hp and more with Nos the small block will need very good parts to push it that far with Nos just how many time are you going to hit the NOs??? NOs is the best bang for the buck but the bang cost alot when you melts the pistons and send your rod thru the block.i wound build to 496-512 with stock block or with a world block 555to565 and build it mild street use small roller cam and 10.5 cr this will make alot of TQ and you will feel that more then hp and if you want more spray it but i do not think you would on the street??

well for the street i say small cam that would be in the 650 lift and 240 dur @050 this will work better then a 750lift and 270 dur @050 for street use if your going just drag racing i would build a 496/512 and still build it to make tq you can make it a hi rpm engine but why? you just will wear out the parts faster
