    Making a Masterpiece

Hello everyone. My name is Mike and im trying to make my 75 Stang II look like new again, but with a few mods. As you already know, I have a 1975 Mustang II. Its the ghia edition, thus it has a moon roof and a vinyl covering on the roof. I have a few problems here. The moon roof leaks really bad and the vinyl is starting to peel. I was planning to paint the car at some point in the near future here. I was wondering if I could just rip it off and paint the roof? How bout the moonroof? I want to keep it, but to stop leaking. Any ideas or experience here? Any feedback is greatly appreciated! I would like to get it painted and get those mustang stripes on it within the year or so. Ive just finished rebuilding the engine. Shes my baby, and i want her looking nice. haha.
As you climb the ladder of success, remember one thing; all the smart people took the elevator.

    Mike

If I remember right those moon roofs were not made by Ford but by some company in California. I had a fit with one in a 74 T-bird and Ford was no help at all.
If your top is peeling there's a pretty good chance you have some rust issues to deal with too.
