1940 Ford Deluxe Sedan Rear Drum/Hub Assembly

Can anybody tell me what is the proper procedure for separating the hub from the drum on an original 40 Ford setup? We got the drum/hub assembly removed from the axles using the proper removal tool. But now we can't get the hub separated from the drum to have the drums turned or replaced. Any suggestions?
    Thanks in advance

They come apart? OK, try driving all the studs out first, that works on most 2 piece hub/drum units. I use a hammer and a brass drift so I don't damage them.
