What type of car is this? If it has a curved widshield it will be more difficult. What do you mean by get rid of the other windows? Are you chopping the top off a car?"its better to rule in hell, than serve in heaven."

I once had a convertible that my girlfriend broke all the windows out of except the windshield. She threw a floor jack at it and it bounced back and hit her in the face but the glass didn't break. I can give you her number and tell you what I said to piss her off.
Other than that all convertibles have side windows.
You didn't say if your working on a school bus or an f-16 so It's hard to answer your question. If it's an f-16 there should be a handle next to the seat that removes the top and all the glass except the windshield. Go ahead Goober. Pull it.
