    Low profile jack

What small and low profile jacks do you guys know of that we can carry in the rod in case we have a flat? I am looking for a very low profile jack but hopefully something smaller than a floor jack..........

Most of the later model scissor jacks are pretty compact. I like the GM ones because they have a nice swivel lug wrench(3/4) that works the jack

California Car Cover has a scissor jack that is only about 1.5" high. Made for streetrods and hotrods. Enclosed in its own case which is used as it's base. At $370 it ain't cheap. But if that's your style, they got the answer. I use an old scissors jack that I got with a sports car many years ago. It's about 20" long and 6" wide and is strong. Ratchet handle resides inside next to the screw. Not exceptionally compact, but it works well and beats carrying a hydraulic.
