    fuel tank air vent question

I just got my new bed mount, fuel tank today, minus instructions. When I called CPP, they said it ws pretty straight foward in plumbing it and mounting it. The tech guy said to put the smallest K and L air filter I could find inline to the vent port, mounting it higher than the gas tank. So I was wondering if any of you have been there done that and could recogment a part # of a air filter you used. Thanks.

Steve, I'm wondering if the tech guy didn't mean a K&N filter. We use small K&N vent filters on some of the bikes we build. See if this link can help you.

That was the ticket. I was online ordering with summit and got this link from you. the 62-1000 is perfect for the same hoes fitting diameter of 3/8 " that the vent tube ball valve also is a 3/8 " hose diameter. I some times dislex K and L (my wine club) with K and N which parts go on my Harley and now the truck! Thanks. Steve.
