    Tire/Wheel fitting help needed!

Ok, my 32 5 window now has 15x10 wheels with 3.5 inch backspace. I am running 295/50/15 tires which have a section width of 12.2". There is 4 inches from the BODY of the car, out to the (inner side) tire sidewall.

This is about 2 to 3 more inches of space or "gap" than I like between the tire and body of the car. You can see a lot of axle and brake caliper.

I am wanting to put 29x15.5x15 tires on. I would like to move up to a 12x15 inch rim (no problem) but I am not sure if I should stay with my SAME backspace of 3.5 inches or go up to 4.5 inches so that rim fits closer to the car but the tire NOT rub....

The new tires I want are Hoosier Pro Street Radials. 29.5 Diameter (all fine here) Section Width is 14.8 (this is what I need to work with) and tread width is 12.10.

I am sure they will fit fine if I keep my 3.5 backspacing BUT I want to know if you think they will fit if I move my rims in an extra inch and go with a 4.5 inch backspacing????

The look I want is to get the wider tire as close as I can to the body of the car. I assume by leaving about an inch between the body and the inner tire is enough? If so, this is the look I want. Do you think the tire and the extra backspace of 1 inch will fit?

Please let me know your thoughts.
