I like the car, some of the lines on it need a bit of "enhancement" though.... I just need the time, space, and $$$$ to do something with it... The clowns that started on it did such a lousy job trying to put the body on the frame going to have to start all over on it.... Should just sell it to somebody more interested in such a car, but I took it in payment of a debt, and of course I'm buried in it...... Maybe when I get it 'blasted and reprimed I'll get a bit more motivated but right now I'd just as soon sell it as is and let someone else enjoy the build.....

Doesn't it just make you want to hurl? I see stuff like that on nearly every amateur build I look at. I don't even like to go to parking lot car shows anymore.

That's why I like it here show some pics and get input on what to do and the right way or at least let's say the safest way to build .

Dave once you get it blasted and primed don't seem like you have too much clean up work . The rear end looks narrow will it allow some big meat in the wheel wells . The engine bay has to big enough for one of those mod motors of any size also . In my recent study of a certain model I am not seeing the profit margin i would like either I hope your not to deep in it .

Dave, I really like the lines on that wagon, but I would have to make it a two door!!!!!

Bobby, the rear end is only about 5" off from being centered under the car....would seem the original builder left his tape measure at home that day...I'll get some picture of the cobble job they did on the body mounting if I keep the car long enough to redo it.... Still rather peddle it to some GM guy, and yeah, I'm buried in it....50 cents on the dollar would be fine with me!!!!!

Man, Jerry Titus is one of the all time best racers around!!! Had the privelge of watching him a couple times in the Mustangs, he could really drive those old ill-handling horses!!!! At the time I was wrenching a B/Production Mustang.....The one and only time the car was in the same race as Jerry, he blew by it coming into a turn like our car was backing up!!!!!! Still have some pics around of him in some of the original Trans Am series Mustangs!!!! Any idea where he's at these days??? Haven't even heard his name mentioned in 10 years or better.......?????

I was thinking the same thing, get rid of a couple doors and that would be the bees knees. There were actually a few 2 door hardtop wagons, I think Merc had one in 58.

Dave this looks like a keeper! Man the red on the incentive photo is just the ticket for this car! Reminds me of my friends 55 Chevy!

Dave, if you decide to let it go, get ahold of me!!! See my avitar?? That one (55 Special w/74k original miles on the 264/auto) left in 1997 and I have regretted it ever since!! I have a 71 455 motor setting in the corner of the shop that will hopefully someday grace the engine bay of a 55-57 model that actually belongs to ME again!! 3 kids (now TEENS) keeps me from making much of an investment into anything except them!! Saw a NICE 56 at the rod run today, yellow and white, "for sale or trade" but no pricetag...

Well, mine is definitely for sale or trade.... If you're interested I can get some better pictures, and some of the rest of the sheetmetal, bumpers, grille, interior, and the rest of the parts that go with it.... As I said, the frame has to be worked some to get the body to even set on it correctly....
