SLICK car Dave ,
I always wanted a 54 Buick special , Eldon & Jerry Titus lived a few blocks from me back in the early 80's and they both had sweet 54 Buick specials !
You need to move closer to me so I can give you INCENTIVE

I like the car, some of the lines on it need a bit of "enhancement" though.... I just need the time, space, and $$$$ to do something with it... The clowns that started on it did such a lousy job trying to put the body on the frame going to have to start all over on it.... Should just sell it to somebody more interested in such a car, but I took it in payment of a debt, and of course I'm buried in it...... Maybe when I get it 'blasted and reprimed I'll get a bit more motivated but right now I'd just as soon sell it as is and let someone else enjoy the build.....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Doesn't it just make you want to hurl? I see stuff like that on nearly every amateur build I look at. I don't even like to go to parking lot car shows anymore.PLANET EARTH, INSANE ASYLUM FOR THE UNIVERSE.

That's why I like it here show some pics and get input on what to do and the right way or at least let's say the safest way to build .
Dave once you get it blasted and primed don't seem like you have too much clean up work . The rear end looks narrow will it allow some big meat in the wheel wells . The engine bay has to big enough for one of those mod motors of any size also . In my recent study of a certain model I am not seeing the profit margin i would like either I hope your not to deep in it .

Dave, I really like the lines on that wagon, but I would have to make it a two door!!!!!
Bobby, the rear end is only about 5" off from being centered under the car....would seem the original builder left his tape measure at home that day...I'll get some picture of the cobble job they did on the body mounting if I keep the car long enough to redo it.... Still rather peddle it to some GM guy, and yeah, I'm buried in it....50 cents on the dollar would be fine with me!!!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Dave this looks like a keeper! Man the red on the incentive photo is just the ticket for this car! Reminds me of my friends 55 Chevy!" "No matter where you go, there you are!" Steve.

Dave, if you decide to let it go, get ahold of me!!! See my avitar?? That one (55 Special w/74k original miles on the 264/auto) left in 1997 and I have regretted it ever since!! I have a 71 455 motor setting in the corner of the shop that will hopefully someday grace the engine bay of a 55-57 model that actually belongs to ME again!! 3 kids (now TEENS) keeps me from making much of an investment into anything except them!! Saw a NICE 56 at the rod run today, yellow and white, "for sale or trade" but no pricetag...If its not worth doing right, its not worth doing... Donny, MaxxMuscle Custom Painting

Well, mine is definitely for sale or trade.... If you're interested I can get some better pictures, and some of the rest of the sheetmetal, bumpers, grille, interior, and the rest of the parts that go with it.... As I said, the frame has to be worked some to get the body to even set on it correctly....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Ok gang. It's been awhile. With everything that was going on taking care of my mom's affairs and making a few needed mods to the Healey, it was June before anything really got rolling on this...
