For the Audiophiles
Got a complete Bose system out of a 91 Caddy, Going in the roadster. I bench wired it and it has a little problem. The right front speaker will start out with a thud every few minutes. Over the course of 15-20 minutes it gets faster and increases in frequency till it is a very high pitched buzz. Then it will quit and start the sequence all over after a few minutes. Any Ideas?theres no foo like an old foo

I know the bose systems in the corvettes use amplified speakers that have a tendency to be troublesome...I would try swapping the speakers and see if you get the same problem on the same channel, at least that will tell you if it's the speaker or the main unit...

might be part of a theft deterrent system. Might need a code tapped in to clear it..
Education is expensive. Keep that in mind, and you'll never be terribly upset when a project goes awry.

I wanted to complain about this NZ slang business, but I see it was resolved before it mattered. LOL..
