corrosion in coolant
I've flushed the block on my 64 C 10 (350) several times, and I still have nasty coolant. Looks like red mud. Is there anything I can put in to stabilize the block and stop the rust?
Running 50-50 ( roughly ) coolant..
Education is expensive. Keep that in mind, and you'll never be terribly upset when a project goes awry.

Each time you flushed it was it one right after the other? Or was it done after a few days or more between flushing? If the latter, antifreeze or a rust inhibitor should stop any rusting.
If the former, I have heard that using white vinegar will really clean out an engine block. Fill with the vinegar and run the car for a few days. Flush and they say it should be squeeky clean.
