1950 Plymouth firewall
Hey dudes, do I have the plague, or something? I mean Iam not stupid I know it made out of metal, usually sheet metal, but out of all the guys reading this post nobody has any ideas. Iam trying to figure out how to make the hump contour back into the firewall so it is not so obvious the engine is 5 inches farther back than original, not rocket science, I have just not been able to come up with any feasable ideas, on how to do this Ihave learned a lot from this restore/hotrod project. I thought this is what we were all trying to do here, trying to help each other out, for the common good of the hobby. Thanks Terry

Hey mekanic, can you take some pix of what you are trying to do so I can try to wrap my little brain around what you're trying to do?

In a word, "Wheelbarrow"! The stamped steel ones make great firewall humps.
A man was watching his wife as she prepared to fry sausages in a pan. He noticed that before placing the sausages in the pan, she always cut off both ends, threw them away, and cooked only the middle...
