Sidewalk size 23 T for my Grandson

This is my Grandson Gordon. We're in a deep discussion concerning his future ride. I picked up a new wheelbarrow a week ago, and will use the tub for the body to make a small scale 23T. Have a transaxle from a garden tractor and a set of spoked wheels with tires for the front, and a pair of 13 inch chrome rims for the back. Leaf springs from an older snowmobile for the suspension, have to get a motor, likely a Briggs & Stratton for power. Picked up a bunch of chrome tubing, some with bends from an old chrome table and chair set. Should be able to make the nerf bars, bumpers, headlight stands and windshield frame from it all. When I asked what color we should paint it...all I got was this thoughtful look. He's not saying, but then he's only 10 months old, and not saying much of anything just yet. But he's thinking about it!! Just thought I'd share this, a proud Papa.

Education is expensive. Keep that in mind, and you'll never be terribly upset when a project goes awry.

That's a good looking young man, and he's lucky to have a Grandpa looking out for him. Post some pictures of your mini-T build - sounds like a great project that will bring lots of smiles when the time comes.

Yep, gotta see some pictures. Sounds pretty neat. When I was a lad around that age gramps found an old beat up radio flyer wagon, straightened a few things and painted it silver. Though I haven't seen that ol' wagon in over 55 years it's still a fond memory. You do good.......

It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.

Luck occurs when preparation and opportunity converge.

Looks like a future rodder to me. Spoil him good, Grampa!
Goodyear makes mag style golf cart wheels that are about half scale, perfect for back rollers on that type of baby "T".

I'll check out what is available, thanks for the lead. Spoil him? Who me? Darn right!!

I'll take some pictures when we get started on this project, should be fun. You know... he's going to get his car before I get mine 'Papa' Sniper
