ntf that is a great idea. or what about the snaps but have a covered button that snaps into the snap hole when the cover is off.BARB

I had never even thought of magnets. I guess if it works on refrigerator doors it might work on a top also.
Barb,
I like the idea of snap covers. Hadn't thougth of that either.
That's why I like to throw these questions out on this forum. You can get honest sincere answers without all of the caustic BS of another forum I might mention.
